The Port Royal Farmers Market is where customer reaction to the Corvus products is tested every Saturday. There are currently two EVOOs on offer in newly bottled or refill portions. A new record was broken on 10/10/2015, when 27 out of the 32 customers at our stand, brought their old, cleaned bottles to be refilled. That’s a 84% refill rate, way above the 58% average for the past two years. Specialty grocery stores pouring the Corvus oils out of fustis (inox barrels) show the same 58% refill rate as well. Earlier this year, another record was broken, when 52 portions of Corvus EVOO were sold in the three hours the Market operates. That’s one sale every 3.5 minutes, of which 56% were refills. Corvus proved to be a concept that works.
